Air Show

Oregon has had an airshow for the past 21 years (I think it's been 21 years). Lucas has been to all of them except three: the first year, because he just moved to Oregon. Two years ago, because of Jill's wedding, and this year because he was on call for work. So, instead of us standing in line at 0800 for the gates to open at 1000, for the show that starts at noon, we packed a little picnic and watched the show from about three miles from the airport. Although we couldn't see much of the show, we did see the F-18, the F-16 and a formation flying team. We took quite a few pictures trying to get one with Owen AND a plane. So, here is Owen and an F-18 at his first airshow... the first of many. I only hope for both Lucas and Owen that Owen loves airplanes nearly as much as Lucas.

Sorry to say Lucas, but Owen doesn't look too enthralled with the air show. I think you need to step up his plane education! Do they make plane flash cards? I'll have to look into that! What if by age 1 or 2 he could identify all the different planes! Much more useful information than identifying all the presidents, right?
