One less tube

Today Henry made good eating progress... the little tube up his nose that went into his stomach to help him eat, that little tube that has been in all of his photos, that little tube that took up residence on Henry's face... well, it was taken out today. He's eating well from the bottle, so he's "on his own" now. We'll give him a few days to make sure he's gaining weight, but this makes it one step closer to bringing him home. Our new goal is Tuesday.

One last picture of the tube. I love the interlaced fingers, waiting so patiently. Henry will be a tummy sleeper when he gets home. So we're learning at positioning him in good places. He looks so cozy! (no tube in this shot!)

Telling us what he thinks of the long ICU stay... I couldn't agree more! (I swear this wasn't posed!)

We got to use the computer in the business center to get out airline seat boarding passes, so stuck around to view the blogs. So great to get to catch up on the pictures and news on Henry (and the rest of the family, too). Love the finger picture and the tooth fairy visit. Can't wait to see you on Sat night. Love and blessings to you all,, MOM & DAD
