Precarious Situations

Owen is moving around with a lot of skill and agility. It's great watching him think about where he wants his body to go, and what he has to do to make it happen. He's learning about gravity and what's on and off limits of the house.

Currently he loves the cords around the TV. So, Lucas built a barricade around the TV hoping the slow him down a bit. Owen, of course, found a way under the coffee table and around the toy table to get there. Then he fell and got stuck. Mom to the rescue. Last night, Owen was crawling over Lucas while holding his ladle. He fell off Lucas and landed/got stuck in this silly position. Note, he's still holding on to the ladle. Dad to the rescue.

Owen has found that he can reach into the basket of toys and choose his favorite. Which works great when his pick in near the top. But this morning, he wanted something on the very bottom and, while this picture doesn't do it justice, he was stuck. His feet are off the ground and he's teetering between falling into the basket, but not enough weight on the back to get his feet down. Mom to the rescue (after I tried to take a photo).

Owen likes to climb up on the bike and touch both pedals at the same time.
"HI MOM!! Look one handed!"

This is his Wilson impersonation from "Tool Time".
