Silver Falls: night one

We went camping for two nights at Silver Falls State Park. I've only been there once, for Dad and Grandpa's Birthday Party a few years ago. I can't believe I've lived here so long, and this is the first time I've hiked/camped here. The only problem with this place is that it's so pretty, we took a LOT of pictures! Bob and Amy joined us for this trip, our last cabin camping trip planned for the summer. Next up: some tent camping.

Owen loves to scoot around while camping, here he is going over the covered foot bridge, connecting the cabin sites to the cabin sites.

Always the helper, getting some firewood for us.
Enjoying some "fizzy drinks" and enjoying the wilderness.

 Two chairs: a BOAT!

 Seriously, so cute!
Lucas made steaks and potatoes for our first meal.
 FIRE!
Owen found a map of the falls, he needed to have it at all times. He loved to read it and talk about it.
 Our cabin.
Owen helping again, by filling up our kettle.
