First Teeth Gone

A couple weeks ago, Owen noticed a tooth behind his baby tooth. We called it a shark tooth, and waited and wiggled his baby tooth, trying to get it to move. It was "stuck like cement", and didn't budge. Then, it started to hurt... so we went to the dentist today.
He was very excited to go through the "big door", since he's a big kid now.

He actually had two adult teeth doing the same thing, so the dentist decided she would take both teeth out. It all took place while he was enjoying an episode of Phineus and Ferb, that's 23 minutes from start to finish.

He's pretty excited to see what the tooth fairy will bring him for losing TWO teeth in one day. Our little baby is growing up quite quickly.

What an eventful trip to the dentist. I wonder how much he got for leaving two teeth for the tooth fairy? I'm sure he was thrilled about their encounter. Anyway, I'm glad that things turned out great. Did his teeth settle in well after he got them pulled? Keep us posted, Marla. All the best to you! :)
