I've resorted to bribing Owen in hopes that he will sleep through the night in his own bed. Maybe not the best choice, but it was a great way to reward him with a globe... He's wanted a globe for a while.
So, tonight as I tucked him into bed, I told him he would get a surprise if he sleeps through the night (a new book). Owen asked what the surprise was, I told him he would have to wait and see... He replied with: you know, I've always wanted a trumpet!

If you put him to bed with a trumpet, at least you would know when he went to sleep.
