Beach Time

We enjoyed some great beach time at Lincoln City. The rental house was huge, so Bob, Amy, and my dad joined for the two nights. Unfortunately, mom was sick so stayed at home. On Saturday, both Jill and Suzi's families joined for the day.

Owen loved playing in the COLD waves.
Henry was very happy hunting for rocks.
The beautiful patio of our house. And two boys capturing the sunset pictures.

 Another day, another beach trip
Henry drawing a line in the sand
 Love.
Dad and Lucas watching Owen turn purple in the water.

Owen found a sand worm while we were digging a hole. (look right where he is pointing)

Bunch of cousins, an aunt and an uncle building a dam.

Lunch

We got the great opportunity, through the Children's Cancer Association, to spend two nights in Lincoln city at a beautiful beach house. On our drive there, we stopped at Red Hills Market for lunch.

My boys
 Me and Henry
 Mimi loving up Owen.
 Three generations of great people
Outside was a large bocci ball court. Henry lined them all up. Owen smushed his finger between two, and decided that he was done playing.

Fall Days

Last week, my dad and I took the boys to feed the ducks. It was a nice crisp fall morning, and quite lovely.

Owen has become quite the photographer. Taking LOTS of pictures with an old camera of our. (I'm working on getting a blog of his own photos set up)
 Two happy guys.

During our walk, we found our favorite "echo tunnel".

Podpahs

On Saturday, we had dinner with Nick, Kasi, Brock and Porter. Which means, the adults ate dinner and had time to talk while the kids forgot about dinner and played on the trampoline.

They did stop for a couple cute pictures with Nick and Kasi.

Day two

The next morning, we went to the beach again. Two days of lovely weather on the Oregon coast in October... a very rare treat. We are so lucky that we were finally able to take Henry to the beach, and it was nice enough weather for him to enjoy it.

Huge rocks and water is endless entertainment.

After each beach trip, we quickly went back to the hotel to wash the salt water and sand off Henry's delicate skin. He looks so grown up wrapped up in the towel.
Owen wanted to show off his muscles.
We headed down the coast to eat Tillamook ice cream at the cheese factory. Henry really wanted to drive the cheese bus... the ice cream took second place.

Cannon Beach

We decided to make an impromptu overnight trip to Cannon Beach on Friday night. We picked Owen up from school and headed west. Owen and Penguin were very excited.

Henry napped, Penguin photo bombed the picture.
When we got to Cannon Beach, the weather was BEAUTIFUL! We wrapped Henry's PICC line up, and sent him to go play.

 The boys actually played... together!

We ate seafood on the beach.

We had our traditional post beach warm cocoa
We went out for dinner and made funny faces.

 And kissing faces
And handsome faces
And, for a bonus treat, we were able to watch the sunset.
