Make-a-Wish: Day One

We left for Seattle Friday morning. We started by letting the kids watch a movie in the car. First time we let them watch a movie. We chose Shrek, it did the trick just fine... quiet, memorized boys.
After checking into the amazing Hotel Monaco, we went to the monorail. We got a free limo ride to the station, thanks to a very nice limo driver who saw our Make-a-Wish buttons.
We got a private tour of the monorail. The boys got to help check out the empty monorail, and help ready it to drive.
 We checked below and above.
They got to open the doors and ring the bells.
Then, we got a private ride.

After the monorail, we went to the Great Wheel. We got VIP passes, which let us ride in the glass bottom gondola.
 The boys loved it.
We walked up to meet our friend Heather at work. She works at the US Customs Agency. We got a private tour there too.

Then, we spent a few minutes relaxing before dinner. The boys loved the "transformer" bed (AKA a pull-out sofa). They actually slept together on it, the first time in bed together!

To finish the day, we had dinner with Heather, Jennifer and Luke.
