Downtown Firehouse

This past week, we went to the BIG fire house in down town Portland. A friend from my work's husband works there, and gave us a tour. Of course, touring an active fire station came with draw backs. After ten minutes there, they got called out to a fire. And, well, they didn't come back before we had to leave. But, we had plenty of time to play with the "jaws of life".

The boys were promised to go up in the big "bucket" ladder, but as soon as they got in the bucket, the call came in... so they quickly got to come down.
Luckily, while disappointed in the short visit, they got to see LOTS of MAX trains.
