Henry is nine months old! Amazing how fast that nine months has gone. We went to the doctor today. His official stats: 20lb 5oz (50%) and 29.5 inches (90%). VERY close to Owen at nine months, he was 20lb 12oz and 29 inches. Another tall skinny kids. He passed (of course) all the nine month markers, and Dr. Snyder said he was a perfect kid. I happen to agree.
As for a quick surgery update: Official surgery date is January 5th at 0730. The first 15 minutes will be getting tubes in his ears (if he needs them). 99% of kids with cleft palates have fluid accumulation in the ears... so far, Henry has minimal to none. So, the ear doctor will take a look on the day of surgery and make a decision. After the ears, he will get the cleft palate fixed. That takes 1-1.5 hours. After, hopefully, only one night in the hospital, we get to bring him home. Two weeks in restraints, soft foods, lots of post-op appointments and he's hopefully done with surgeries!
