Owen's Program

Owen's preschool had it's Christmas program. All four grandparents were in attendance. While last year, he told us he would not sing... just right the bells. This year he sang...quietly, but he sang.
Pre-performance picture.
I love the determination of jingling the bells.
Henry put on his boots himself.
And was quite happy with a bag of Pirate's Booty.

Very seriously waiting for the next song.
Can't seem to get the video to load... but picture 20 kids singing. 15 screaming the song and 5 singing quietly. Owen is one of the five.

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas. I worked the eve, and came home to boys (and Penguin and Doggie) ready to celebrate!

With each present Henry opened, he signed/asked if it was a train or helicopter. He was so happy when it was true... and happy enough with every other gift.
Owen loved the flute we got for him in Hawaii.
 And of course, Bat Man.

In the afternoon, we headed down to Salem to spend time with my parents.
Owen got a great Spiderman sweatshirt and hat.
WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING AT? Lucas got a R/C helicopter for Christmas from mom and dad. All of the boys love it. The younger boys laugh and laugh. The older boy is perfecting his skills and plays with it as soon as the batteries permit.

Randoms

A few random pictures off the camera. I found Owen napping like this after a long time of him telling me he wasn't tired.

One of Henry's speech therapists, Chris, has a little farm. The farm is about a seven minute drive from our house. So last weekend, we bundled up to take a tour. A very cute puppy joined us.
Chris is helping us feed the goats.
Owen really liked the chickens... but loved splashing in all the puddles more.
And a quick picture of the snow we got. I've never seen the boys get dressed so fast... all for a TINY amount of snow.

More Hanukkah

A few more pictures from Hanukkah.

They boys are getting better at sharing. Owen "lets" Henry be Captain America.
But Captain America takes his turn lighting candles.

Odds and Ends

When I download pictures, there are always a few that don't meet the guidelines of the posts I'm posting... so here are just a couple extras.

Henry getting ready to see speech therapist Chris.
A beautiful shot of a beautiful boy.
Boys decorating a gingerbread house. Or as they call it, a candy house.

Hanukkah

We have been celebrating Hanukkah for the past five nights. I love seeing the boys faces when we light the candles, and open presents.
The first night was a new book.

On Monday we had a big latke dinner. Lucas made amazing brisket, I fried up about 100 latkes. Nick, Robert and their families, along with our parents joined in celebration.
 Henry is enjoying a lime.
 Lucas and his boys.
Funny faces. Well, two funny faces and one sweet face.
 Henry helped light candles.
Lucas commented that Hanukkah is the celebration of a miracle. A miracle that can happen when a group of people fight with all their might against incalculable odds.
On night number five, the boys got a big gift. Henry got a train.
Owen got a Captain America Mask and shield.
Captain America has a sidekick.

Brothers

Owen and Henry are starting to play together, and fight together, but mostly get along as brothers do.

I think Henry is in the cupboard, and Owen is outside... but a cute picture.

Clinic

Last week, Henry had a clinic appointment for some lab work. He was super cute, and made everyone smile.
 Riding on the tractor.
If you leave the thermometer out...
Henry will make art with the probe covers.

Cousins

Most every Tuesday, Suzi, Beatrix and Seth come over so I can take Henry to school for an hour. Then, Suzi and Seth leave for school, Suzi volunteers at the elementary, and I keep Beatrix for the afternoon. While we were at school last week at school, some fun pictures were taken on my camera.
