We surprised the kids with a trip to zoo lights last week. When we told Owen we had a surprise for them, he started to whisper. "Mom, we have to whisper surprises." We got on max, which was a big enough surprise, but when we got out at the zoo, and saw the amazing lights (just in the parking lot) the boys were very very excited.
We met our friends Susan and Dave, and their kids Jake and Ruby.
Then, the zoo train with even more lights.
The boys loved it. And perfect weather too. Henry didn't even have to wear his coat.
Then back to max, via a very big elevator.
On the way back, both boys were tired, but Owen still "let" Henry sit on his lap for some of the ride home.
