Our friends organized a skate-a-thon to raise money for the leukemia and lymphoma society. We met up with friends and family, and had a great time. I will admit, it felt like a blast to the past walking into a skating rink. I don't think it's changed in 30 years.
Owen started with skates, then promptly wanted them off. Then we found some clip on skates for Henry. He did great, which made Owen want his on again. Neither liked the "super slippery" rink, but they ended up doing quite well on the carpeted area.
