Cousins

This past Monday, we watched Seth and Beatrix for a while, during Zachary's field trip. We had a great time. Seth worked on building muscles. Look how strong he is!
Since it was a nice day, we played outside for a bit. Since some of the medicine Henry is on makes him very sensitive to sunlight, I made him put on a hat. He decided to wear it over his hoodie.

Then we had races. (I think B may have had a head start on this round)

Back inside for magnet time.
I think all four kids napped. A small miracle, and one that all adults enjoyed!

Dance Party

During our dance party after bath time a few nights ago, Owen decided that dancing in his robe and underwear was the "cool thing to do". Never mind his underwear was on his head.
Henry decided he should lift his shirt while dancing... wonder what his future profession will be...

Motorcycle

The boys always love when Bob-Bob rides his motorcycle over to our house. The love to sit on it, and to pretend someday I'll say "yes" to them getting to ride on one. Henry loves to sit on it more than Owen, like he's a natural...
After a few minutes on the bike, Owen decided he wanted to sit in Grandpa's sedan. I think that's more Owen's speed.

evening fun

The Ryersons came over this afternoon for play and dinner. Six kids, four adults... we had a great time. Seth was into creating art with Magneatos.
For dessert we had banana splits. Lucas put pre-dessert of whipped cream on everyone's nose.
After dessert: a dance party. Henry loved dancing with Abigail.

Swim Lessons

Owen started swim lessons today. For a kid that hates when bath water gets in his eyes, he did great.

Being a starfish with teacher Amy.

Checking out his "whale feet"

On an "island"
He did so great. It even won the "what was your favorite part of the day". Not bad, usually it's eating.
Henry loves to wear glasses... even if they belong to Mr. Potato Head.

cousins

Henry loves being read to. Abigail loves to read. It's a perfect match. Especially when all the other kids like to read too.

Grandma's house

This past week, the boys and I drove down to Salem for a quick visit. We played, shopped, played, ate lunch and drove home. Quick... but still a lot of fun.

Monkey Man.
Playing with money
Both boys passed out in the car ride home. Henry with in five minutes.
Owen, by 15 minutes.
