Pictures

lots and lots of pictures! Over two weeks in the hospital, without posts, means lots and lots of pictures! Henry loves playing in the window. A good view, and a great place to work on his leg muscles.

Baby jail.

He's so handsome. (even in mismatched stripes)

Handsome little man!

Outings

Out in the gardens, Henry loves looking at the turtles. He also loves my coffee cups.

Owen loved the glove balloon that one of the nurses made for him.

While Owen petted the balloon, Henry looked quite jealous!

Owen was NOT going to share!

Welcome back

We've been in the hosptial since the fourth this time. It's been over two weeks, and it seems like forever. Henry, as always is such a little trooper. He's had mouth sores, ear bleeds, nose bleeds, and more shots than I can count. Yet, through it all, he loves to play and play and laugh. His laughter keeps us all going.

Chile Life is letting us borrow a little car to roam the hallways. Henry loves it when Owen pushes him around.

Park

Wow, it's been a while since I've posted some pictures! We've been back in the hospital since April fourth, and these are from the Sunday before. It was so nice having us all together at home. Some great time at home, and fun times at the park by our house. happy naked brothers.

Henry was content hanging out in the stroller watching Owen play. Every few minutes, Owen would walk over to the stroller and give Henry a kiss or big smile.

Quote

On Monday, we took Henry back to the hospital. This time it will be for about four weeks. While I stayed at the hospital, Lucas went home. When he got home, Owen asked where Henry was. LUCAS: Henry's at the hospital. He'll be there for a while. OWEN: Daddy, be patient. Brother have big booboo. Doctor will help. How did Owen get so sweet and so wise!

Diane

Diane is our child life therapist. A better name would be super-hero. She brings both boys toys, and will sit with Henry while we go grab a cup of coffee, or an escape out of the room. She will play with Owen in the "play room" to give me and Lucas some time together. She is fantastic. On Sunday, when Henry was still home, I asked Owen what he wanted to do. He said, "go hospital, play with Diane." This is Henry taking a nap with the lovely Diane. Occasionally, therapy dogs make their rounds on the unit. Usually, Henry doesn't have high enough white blood cells to be so close to a dog. BUT, we was able to see Marin last Thursday, before we were discharged home for the weekend. I was so excited to see the dog. Henry was oblivious. He was much more excited to watch Chris, our nurse case manager, than Marin. It had everyone laughing.
Look at that cute smile on Marin.
While it looks like Henry is looking at Marin, he is really looking at Chris, who is standing right behind Marin.

Cousins

Suzi and her boys came to help out over spring break. Owen was napping, but here's a picture of three cousins at play!

Park time

We went to the park on Sunday. Had a great time, as always when the four of us are together. This is Owen telling me to "stand back" as he goes down the slide. Lucas and the boys.
"look, an airplane!"
"peek-a-boo!"
