Henry was wrestling with his little vacuum, and this is how it ended. It makes me want to come up with funny little captions for it. Please feel free to add yours. 1. Housework got you down?
2. Turtle's trying out a new shell.
3. My back sucks.
4. Darn it! I thought I was wrestling a Flowbee.

He Sits!!
Self Portraits
Just a couple self portraits over the past couple days. The best one of today: Owen making a loud airplane noise. Henry looking at Owen. I cut off penguins head... but I'm looking at the camera. This is Owen's "smile" face. It looks like he's in tremendous pain... but I assure you, when you say "smile Owen" this is the face you get. Quickly followed by, "see see" (the pictures)
Brothers
Owen and Henry are starting to spend more time actually interacting. It's so sweet. When we put Henry to bed, Owen likes to help. He'll turn on his music, help turn pages when reading books, and he usually gives Henry a big good night kiss (which I think is the highlight to Henry's day). Last night, Henry was in the crib and Owen reached in. He said, "good night brother. Good night ears, good night hair" all while patting Henry's hair and ears. So sweet.
Here a penguin is kissing Henry. Owen kissing Henry.

A day in the life: dinosaurs
Owen is IN LOVE with dinosaurs. He loves them! He will choose one to take with us on a walk to the grocery store, another for a car ride, yet another to go upstairs when we get Henry up from a nap. We got a new parasaurolophus (say that three times fast) at OMSI, he brought him home and quickly introduced him to all his other dinosaurs... such a host.
So, I thought I'd just take some candid shot of the dinosaurs today. Here they are guarding Owen's books. I spelled out OWEN, then Owen placed them on before going to bed. Owen is "letting" Henry play with an Apatosaurus. Brachiosaurus is on the couch with a chip clip on his tail.

Henry tackling a dinosaur. I'm quite impressed that when Owen saw this he didn't say, "brother, NO"... maybe sharing IS in the future!

Where's the smile?
BobBob's visit
OMSI
We took the kids to OMSI today. We were a little worried that there wouldn't be enough stuff that would entertain Owen... boy were we WRONG! What a fun morning we had... we will definitely be going back. And even better, it's a place that Owen will only grow more and more into. Today, they had a reptile exhibit going on. Only a few times did Owen call them "dinosaurs". He would just run from case to case saying, "more, more, more". They had an area where you could touch the reptiles... it was a hit!
The first thing we saw was the huge tortoise. (or as we call, turtle). Guess what his name was... come on, guess! It's HENRY! The turtle's name is Henry, and Henry is our turtle! How cute! Here's Owen touching one of many snakes. He was so gentle with them.

Owen and a Russian Tortoise.
Face to face with a boa constrictor.
After the reptiles, we found water. Lots of water to play in.
Owen really didn't want to take a break for a photo... so I quickly asked him to show me his sticks... always a success.
