Being in The Children's Hospital has a few perks. One is Music Rx, a part of Children's Cancer Association. Wonderful volunteers go room to room three times a week and play music and sing, and leave musical toys with the kids to play with. Then, we will rotate toys next time we see them.
Henry is loving this drum. (note, he has both hands back because we got central IV access yesterday!) He looks so big! But the hair does add a few inches.

yay for getting both hands back... better to get in trouble with!
question for you (you know, to answer in your oodles of spare time)... does henry have to wear the hospital gown for the next year? or does he get to wear clothes? i saw a glimpse of some pants, maybe, in these pics? although, at least he has his diaper to protect him from the dangers of hospital gowns!
He will be able to wear his own clothes... which means more laundry for me, but a cuter Henry. We have pants for him, but as for tops, it's a little tricky because of the IV. It's in his right upper arm, so we are still working that out. I will be so much easier when he doesn't need the fluids anymore, but I don't know when that will be. Short sleeves should work... I'm planning on giving it a try when I go back tomorrow. (lucas is there now)
Just bang on da drum all day! Drive everybody crazy! Mommy and Daddy need their own drums, too.
Thinking of you all with love,
