This was the first nice weekend of the summer, so we decided to go to a little water park in
Beaverton... rather, it's a park in
Beaverton that has a huge water fountain you can play in. While we thought this was a good idea, so did everyone else in a 10 mile radius. Luckily, it's a big park, and everyone was in a good mood since the sun finally made an appearance.
Amy met us there, I love this picture: adults looking at the camera, brothers looking at each other.
"Whoa... what is THAT?!"
"Wait, is that WATER? I can play in that?"
Happy boy.
Taking a water break. He marched all around the park drinking his water.
"if you get too close, you get really wet"
Owen is staring at a hole where water comes out. Luckily, the water didn't come back on and shoot him in the face. I think that would have been the end of the water fun.
On a side note, we got a new camera yesterday. Our old one was slowly dying, the final nail in the coffin was that the video stopped working. So, we doled out some money and got a new camera. Lucas loves it, it does a lot of cool things. Here's Owen and his shadow.
I just love his expressions! While Owen didn't get as wet as we thought he would, he had a great time! Next time, maybe we'll try it on a non-weekend sunny day.
Henry had a great time at the park too. While he didn't get to splash in the water, he got to cozy up on Mimi's lap for a long time!

Great pictures - I love all of Owen's expressions. We have some great water/play fountains here in Salem just waiting for a grandchild to come play & get wet with grandma!
