Parks

We are trying to be as active, and safe as possible. But we are playing as much as Henry wants to. Here are a couple pictures from the "boat" park.

And of course, feeding ducks... his favorite.

 I'm gunna get you!

Salt and Straw

We went out for ice cream at Salt and Straw. The boys "patiently" waiting for their chocolate with brownie ice cream.

 Digging in.

You would think Owen would be hoping for one more bite... but really, he was done, and lamenting that his throat was cold. Henry is scraping any last drop of chocolate.

Through Owen's Eyes

When we were at clinic, Owen was getting stir crazy... so, I let him borrow my camera and take pictures. He took over 100. It's interesting to see the view point of a five year old. We deleted a bunch, but here's a nice montage of his pictures.

We were in room six, "this way, dad will know what room we were in"

We've now given Owen one of our old cameras. He loves taking pictures. I'm sure I'll be posting more...

Randall Childen's

Last week we were early for a clinic appointment, so we had some time to play at Randall Children's Hospital. First up: rock climbing.
Next: running to rolling "grass" hills
Owen found a feather, and just played with it for a long while.
Henry is standing on a tree stump outside clinic, declaring himself the "king of the mountain!"

Fire Stations

Both boys love going to fire stations. So, we have visited two different Hillsboro stations in the past week. When we visited engine 2 (by our house) the boys got the opportunity to spray water. The next station will have a lot to live up to!

First day of Kindergarten

Owen had his first day of school today. Such a big guy!

Brotherly love

Owen was running at the camera, he couldn't hold still waiting for the doors to open.

When he was done writing his name, and I gave him a kiss. Owen said he was "launching" us to the door. I think a polite way of saying, "leave, I've got this". Lucas and I both cried as we left. Such a proud moment in parenting life.

Last days of summer

I've promised Owen all summer long that we could stay up late watching movies and sleep downstairs. Summer passed, and I kept putting it off. Well, as summer was quickly wrapping up, we had "late night movie night" this past Sunday night. We ate pizza and popcorn, and watched WALL-E and Cars 2. When the movies were done, Henry wanted to go upstairs to sleep. Owen and Lucas stayed down stairs.

 Riding bikes

The boys love the waiting room at clinic. They quickly turn the chairs into slides, and enjoy some TV before being called in.
