Smart

Smart but sad: Henry is teaching himself how to access his MIC-KEY tube feeding port. He actually opened the port and connected the tube... he only needs to learn how to crack open a can, draw up a syringe and push it on in.

If...

If you dump out EVERY toy, from EVERY toy bin... Both brothers can "fit" in the bucket.

And even enjoy each other's close company (for about 2 minutes).

Optimist

We parked next to a bright yellow Ferrari yesterday. Owen asked what type of car it was. I told him it was a fast fancy Ferrari. As we were walking to the store, Owen told me, "Mom, our van is pretty fast... and it's kinda fancy. It's like the yellow car, but not yellow."

Where's Penguin?

Owen woke up from his nap, but where was Penguin? (hint: Owen has not gained 10 pounds in his belly) There he is!

Chemo Kid

We woke up a little on the early side for Henry's weekly chemo. He grabbed a "cup of coffee" and we were ready to go.

Halloween

This year for Halloween we had Officer Henry And Ninja (or "inja") Owen.

We dressed up and went over to Nick and Kasi's for the annual chili feed. We had a great time, but because of a very early wake up, we didn't stay long. Both boys were asleep by 6:45.

I dressed up as "tired mommy"

Vacation

We decided to go on our first mini-vacation. Which meant, we spent one night at Seaside. We played at the beach, played some more, amazingly the boys went to bed great... the first time sharing a same room... then they woke up at three in the morning. They did not go back to sleep. Luckily, we have some great pictures to remind us that we had a great time, maybe even enough fun to try it again.

Four of is in one picture. Family photo.

Two boys, one picture.

Suzi and I spent the night before just the two of us. No responsibilities for 24 hours... it was lovely.

Owen flying his first kite.

After the beach, they took a bath.

Henry walked around the room at 0430 with an empty cup of coffee. I wish it had coffee in it... for me I promise!
